One can say that the “Aigles” of Mali had a narrow escape last sunday in Bamako since they scored only during extra time (92th mn) to beat Togo 1-0.
Thinhs went easier for Benin as the national team defeated Sierra Leone 2-0 in Cotonou. Goalkeeper Rachid CHITOU took the responsibility to kick successfully a penalty at the 22nd mn. The 2d goal was Mouri OGOUBIYI’s work at the 77th mn.
