Cameroonian international defender Geremi NJITAP is on the verge of joining Newcastle. On 27 June he met the Magpies manager Sam ALLARDYCE, probably to finilase his recuitment.
Geremi's arrival will not cost Newcastle a dime since the player's contract with Chelsea has come to an end, and MOURINHO did not want to renew it. Geremi will have the opportunity to play more regularly than in Chelsea.
It is said that Middlesborough would have liked to have Geremi back to Riverside Stadium where he had been playing some few seasons ago but the Cameroonian had no intention to play again for Borough.
