Paul KPAKA, Sierra Leone striker Belgian-based who plays for KSV Roeselarein thinks that Leroy ROSENIOR will on coaching the Leone Stars. So does his international key defender compatriot Mustapha SAMA.
ROSENIOR was appointed coach of the national team in May, when Sierra Leone had only two African Nations Cup qualiying matches to play against Togo and Mali respectively. Unfortunately they lost both games, including a 6-0 defeat to Mali, which was the worst recorded loss for Sierra Leone in the history of their football.
Both Paul KPAKA and Mustapha SAMA defend ROSENIOR. "We lost to both Togo and Mali respectively not because of bad coaching but because of poor organisation on the part of Sierra Leone Football Association. I think the FA should give ROSENIOR a helping hand by providing everything he needs to do his work successfuly . I think ROSENIOR should be given the chance to continue with the team because he knows his job.", said the former. As for SAMA, he declared: "ROSENIOR is a good professional coach and I think he should be given a chance to build-up the leone Stars' team."
ROSENIOR is due to discuss the matter with the president of the Sierra Leone Football Association Nahim KHADI in London on 7 July.
