Upset by constant booing by sections of Hamburg's fans, Ivory Coast striker Boubacar SANOGO might be interested by a switch from his club Hamburg to his German club's rivals Werder Bremen or Bundesliga champions VfB Stuttgart.
Hamburg's fans jeering of SANOGO led him to a situation that has damaged his confidence. The 24-year-old boy said last week that he wants to stay at Hamburg. "Sometimes, I am afraid... I want to stay, but you never know what is going to happen." Despite the fact that Hamburg have eight strikers in their squad coach Huub STEVENS still includes SANOGO in his plans for next season. And Hamburg's sport director Dietmar BEIERSDORFER said: "We have made plans with him in mind." Stuttgart were ready to pay $US 3.4m for SANOGO last year when he was at Kaiserslautern, but Hamburg want back the $US 5.2m they paid, which seems too high for both Bremen and Stuttgart.
