After defeating Colombia 2-1, the young Ghanaian qualified for the Round of 16 as the second-placed side in Group F. The game took place on Sunday 26 August in the Ulsan Complex Stadium. They started the competition with a defeat to Germany.
Ransford OSEI scored for Ghana in the 33rd minute, but Cristian NAZARITH equalised for Colombo. Fortunately for the Blacks Starlets the Colombian defenders forgot to mark Ishamel YARTEY who won the game for Ghana with a second goal.
In the Round of 16 Ghana will face BraziL.
