J. J. OKOCHO who recently left Bolton (England Premier League) because the club did not renew his contract and who now plays for Qatari SC in Qatar has hust said no to the summoning of the coach of the “Green Eagles” of Nigeria, Austin EGUAVOEN who widhed to have him in the team due to play the 2d qualifying match to ACN 2008 against Lesotho in Maseru next sunday oct. 8. One remembers that OKOCHA decided to put an end to his international career last february. Yet he let himself be persuaded to play the first qualifying encounter against Niger’s “Eagles” (won 2-0 by the “Green Eagles”) inseptember before finally renouncing, putting forward an injury. This time he’s said a categorical “no” to EGUAVOEN who was relying on him to substitute for Ayodele MAKINNA (Lazio Roma, Italy) or Chidi ODIAH (CSKA Moscow, Russia) both of them wounded.
