| Another victory for the « Black Stars » |
For the second they played in South East Asia after beating Japan 4 days ago, the “Black Stars” defeated a young and unexperienced team of South Korea in Seoul World Cup Stadium 3-1. Things were not that easy for the Ghanaians since they had to wait until the second half-time to score at the 48th minute by “Undinese” (Italy) striker ASAMOAH GYAN who headed a cross from his team mate KINGSTON. It’s also by a heading that ESSIEN converted a corner kick into 2d goal for Ghana at the 58th minute but young korean Kim DONG-HYUN rduced the margin at the 62nd minute. Yet at the the same ASAMOAH got forcefully into the penalty area to score his 2d goal to give a 3-1 victory to Ghana. Nevertheless Jung JO-GOOK who plays for FC Seoul might have reduced the margin had his shot did not hit the right pole of Ghana’s goal.
