The match opposing the “Zebras” of Botswana to the “Pharaohs” of Egypt in Gaborone last saturday ended on a draw (0-0) despite a teritorial domination of the egyptian team.
Yesterday in the same group Burundi defeated Mauritania 3 goals to 1 in Bujumbura. Only 3 minutes after the play began Selemani NDIKUMANA scored the 1st of 3 goals that led Burundi to victory. After Buba BRAHIM equalized for Mauritania at the 7th minute NDIKUMANA added a 2d goal at the 30th minute and his team mate Henry MBAZUMUTIMA ended the work just before half-time for Burundi 3, Mauritania 1.
