| A strong resistance of the Guineans during the 1st half-time |
In Yaoundé last saturday the “Indomitables Lions” were mercyless for their counterpart of “Nzalang Nacional” of Equatorial Guinea beaten 3-0 desoite a strong resistance of the Guineans during the 1st half-time. After substituting for FEUTCHINE (injured) at the 50th minute IDRISSOU scored at the 72 mn before adding a 2d goal at the 89th mn, meanwhile on a pass served by Stephane MBIA who had just replaced OLEMBE Achille WEBO had scored the 2d goal for Cameroon at the 79th.
In the same group Liberia defeated Rwanda in Monrovia on sunday 3-2. Liberia was leading 2-0 after Francis DOE scored at the 24yh mn followed by Oliver MAKOR at the 68th mn but Olivier KAREKEZI allowed Rwanda to reduce the mark at the 70th. Dioh WILLIAMS added a 3rd goal for Liberia at the 76mn after a cross from Kelvin SEBWE. Once again Rwanda reduced the score after Abedi MULENDA made a goal at the 78th mn.
