According to BBC, and following the charges against the « Blacks Stars’s » of Ghana French coach Claude LE ROY in relation with alleged illegal transfer deals while he was coaching french FC Strasbourg football club, the Ghana Football Association (GFA) president Kwesi NYANTAKYI has decided to “wait and see” before deciding the future “Idomitable Lions’s” coach. About the police investigation LE ROY is facing in France, NYANTAKYI underlines that “after last week’s preliminary investigation, the presiding judge dismissed 16 of the 17 charges against him.” Besides he recalls that “in accordance with the principle that the benefice of the doubt should always be resolved in favour of the accused person, LE ROY should be presumed innocent until otherwise proven guilty. At the moment, it is only fair and reasonable for us to “await and see” the outcome of the investigation.” As for LE ROY he has proclaimed his innocence of any wrong-doing.
