Appointed in December 2006 as coach of Ethiopia’s national football team only a few days before the kick off of the East and Central African championship hosted by Ethiopia, Frenchman Diego GARZITO has quit office only two months after taking up his post.
Before going to Ethiopia GARZITO was training French 3rd division club Louhans-Cuiseaux. While GARZITO is accusing Ethiopia football authorities of not respecting the terms of his contract, Ethiopian Football Federation boss Woldegiyorgis ASHEBIR’s answer is to reproach GARZITO for the disappointing performance of Ethiopia after it was eliminated in the quarters finals.
Ethiopia is looking for a new coach.
