Less than one year after he was fired from the post of Togo’s national football team for disappointing results, Nigerian Stephen KESHI has resumed duty at the same post since February 7, the very day when Togo played a 2-2 draw against the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon in a friendly play.
KESHI qualified Togo both for the African Cup of Nations in Egypt and the World Cup in Germany last year but was sacked in controversial conditions in March 2006 following disconcerting showing of his team at the African Cup of Nations. “I’m returning to finish my mission”, said KESHI after agreeing to coach Togo again
