Dutchman Mart NOOIJ has just been appointed as the new coach of the national team of Mozambique due to play a very important match next month against Senegal in Dakar in an African Nations Cup qualifiers. He is the substitute for Artur SEMEDO, whose contract expired at the end of 2006 and was not renewed.
NOOIJ coached Burkina Faso’s under-20 team which took part in the 2003 World Youth Championship in the United Arab Emirates. Before being named in Mozambique he was working with the Dutch Football Association as a training instructor.
